The app works with the Shadow-Planner BCM enterprise software solution from Phoenix IT Group. The app synchronises with the business continuity plans held in Shadow-Planner and provides a mobile version of these plans for the user of the iOS device. Specific features include:
• Summary business continuity plans (known within Shadow-Planner as ‘Action Plans’) detailing what to do and when
• Drill-down capability to view specific actions along with associated documents and people responsible
• Hierarchical contact groups with drill down facilities to find contact details for key staff members
• Contact staff by phone, SMS or email, either individually or SMS/email to the whole group
• Search for contacts or Action Plans by name
• Passcode protection for all data
• Synchronisation of contact and plan data with the enterprise application ensures that your mobile business continuity data is always up-to-date
• Download detailed documents on demand or include them in the regular synchronisation
• Circulate documents by email direct from the iOS device, or print to an AirPrint printer
